Tuesday in New Hampshire was a quiet one.
I went for a jog.
Then my dad and I went into town for breakfast and to look at records (my dad's happy place)...
And then we spent a quiet evening with Bob and Sue back at their place.
The next morning, we made our way back to New Market (my grandfather, my grandmother, and much of my family worked in those big, old stone and brick buildings which have now been converted into apartments and shops).
We had breakfast at what might just be the best breakfast joint on the entire planet, The Big Bean.
And then we did a little more sight-seeing and reminiscing from my dad's childhood.
And then we went to visit Aunt Shirley (my dad's, mother's sister).
My dad really wanted a photo of his grandmother McDonald, and Shirley had the perfect one (my sister and I went down to Rite Aid to make a copy of it and a few others).
And then we went to Aunt Lorraine's house (and made another run to Rite Aid to copy some more photos).
And then we made our way back to Rochester for another quiet evening, sitting out on Bob and Sue's back porch, drinking a few drinks, and telling good stories.
Still a few more to come.
Loving seeing new blog posts; ) Looks like so much fun!

These photos and memories have been great. Do you think Bob looks like one of the Marx brothers? LOL
