Your photos are always beautiful - rut or no!
I just went to a mini seminar at a camera store this week. Maybe something like that would be good for you?
I'm confident that your rut is temporary!
Warmly,
Cathy

Have you watched the documentary "Finding Vivian Maier"...inspiring and great, great photos. Read about Bresson and look at his pictures .... Look for some inspiration in the masters. With all the rain you get in Oregon....look at Saul Letter photos. ...also Bert Stern: The Original Madman. Documentary is great.. There are nuggets of inspiration in these ...just waiting to be had. Sure they are a different style of shooting but they have the ability to stir your inner being and inspire you.
Or form a mastermind group....read Napolean Hill or James Allen...

Oh my gosh, you can see how Courtney is becoming a young woman and growing up. sniff sniff. Aren't you both lucky to have each other.

Susan

She is growing into one beautiful young lady!! I love to see the changes in her (and all your kids) through your pictures. And I love her hair too! beautiful

Courtney Lee is growing up so fast!
I'd like to be in your rut! With no willing subjects, and the lovely Okanagan valley about to become the most dismal overcast place in the province, I'm bummed out.

Lisa Gibson

In my opinion, those shots don't reflect a "rut". They show the great gift you were given … an eye for light and an eye for telling an honest story ... a true talent.

Plus, shots like that touch countless others. In fact you have inspired me to pick up my camera and document my father's 70th birthday on Saturday.

Ditto........I love these and the B&W ones too. I would like to have the skills to be in your photography rut girlfriend.....Regards Kathy A, Brisbane

Always an inspiration Karen! Keep on shooting...

Gayle

Glad to see less teenage angst in these photos! She looks happy and lovely! Turning into a young lady for sure.

Awww - I love Powell's! You've got great taste, in bookstores and girls!

Stop growing up, Courtney!!! :(

Karen,
I have read your blog for a number of years now. I enjoy it so much. I love your family and watching them grow. I like following along as you go thru lifes difficult challenges and triumphs. I was a single mom for 14 years till I met my husband. He has been a great father to my son. I feel you were luck when you found Josh. You do so well with your blended family. Anyway, I could go on and on but I will stop for now. Just know that I understand being in a rut. I am 53, lost my job 5 years ago after 23 years and I still don't know what my future holds. Be strong, pray hard and you will find your way. Thanks for all your sharing. These photos of Courtney are beautiful as she is a beautiful girl. God Bless.

rut? B-b-b-bbbb-but only you would really know that - these are gorgeous! She just glows and you can see she is such a confident young woman here with so much going on inside that head - she is ready to take on an adventure! (and oh those gorgeous waves). Love that you had some time together, and a bookshop is the perfect place to hang out. You two are lucky to have each other, even in a rut :)

Through the years I have always been interested in your photos of Courtney Lee. She has always been beautiful and it's a pleasure watching her grow. How lucky she is and will be to have the photos you've taken.

It's simply by what you are prepared to pay from your own wallet as against what you need the insurance provider to supply. Online insurance coverage is quickly taking around the globe, replacing the actual old conventional measures which previously seemed to become the proper way for acquiring insurance.

Not every Mexican tourist car insurance is exactly the same. If you're driving your own US or even Canadian vehicle to South america, you should try to learn what insurance coverages and benefits to consider when buying your South america insurance.

Have you been among the plain insurance coverage agents? Agents often would rather upgrade their own title being an insurance professional or monetary advisor on the business greeting card. Names such as life consultant reflect good experience as well as knowledge.

Therefore let's access it to a home loan insurance dialogue. Did We say home loan insurance? Oh yes! Indeed, it's a distinctive name directed at normal, ordinary life insurance coverage, couched under an extremely nice sound name - making a great deal of distinction to people cautious about "life insurance coverage. ".
