Thank you for being you. That is all. I really thought I could say something more after such a great blog post, but I'm nearly speachless again. Oh, and thanks for staying with us the other night and inspiring us to talk. Love you!

Sasha Farina

I'm so glad your dad is ok! xoxo

Sandra

You are wonderful and even though we've only met a couple of times (once right after my divorce - in Barnes & Noble)where you spoke with me for a bit and everything seemed a little bit better during a really rough time, I consider you a friend. Praying for you as you continue your journey and I'm so glad your dad is OK!

Leslie

Karen I am so grateful for getting the chance to meet you last week, sit with you in classes, learn from you during your presentation and gather together for meals and laughter. You are such an incredible person!

I'll be praying for your family.

Kelli

I wish there was some way to take away your fears and anxiety! You do such an amazing job of speaking that no one would ever know. It's so obvious you are passionate about everything you do! I'm sending you lots of hugs for you and your family at this time. I'm glad your dad will be fine, he has to start getting ready to hit the road with you when you travel from town to town spreading your knowledge of photography! (he'll be bbq-ing for the masses)

Cindy

I am not good at small talk either and I thank you for our group conversation. I have never felt so close to a group of women who I have known for such a short period of time. I love my group of soul sisters! All this would never have happened if God had not put you and the ladies into my life. I love you and I hope you Dad is up and about soon. Give the husband a big hug for me!!

Renee

Love, love, love. I've loved your blog for years. I love your family, you, your writing. And I love that link. Thank you for what you do Karen. Thank you for sharing your life. You are so good at what you do.

Just wanted to say how much I LOVED getting the chance to take your class & meet you at Click Away. It was by far my favorite part of the time in Salt Lake (I'm so glad you kept going after your allotted time ended-I could have listened to you all night). I already knew how amazing & passionate you were about photography & family, but I learned how genuine, high energy, kind and funny you are in person.
Sending prayers to your dad & entire family.

Deneen

I enjoyed our time together even though it went by all too quickly. We love you right back!

1. that is amazing...as a mom that has a child with a medical condition that makes the future look uncertain sometimes, I love seeing people turning something negative into something positive because some times I doubt I could ever get through something so painful.
2. I am in need of being a momma that hasn't seen her kids in 5 days because I am NEVER, and I mean NEVER without them except when they are in school. I love them, but a little distance may recharge some very depleted batteries.
3.& 4. I'm terrible with small talk...like I talk way too much and get the nervous sweats and I would love to have a meaningful conversation with you sometime! :) and your past students showing up is just another reason for me to think you really must be the coolest, most awesome person out there and someone I seriously would love to meet. :)
5. Holy scary! Glad he is okay, so sorry your family is going through this. I hope he makes a full recovery.
6. After I got your email, I listened to it and a few other of his youtube videos. I don't know why but there was something about his voice or the way he talks...he makes you want to listen to him. :)
7. I missed you, so glad to see a blog post and Big Hugs.

Michelle

Oh Karen, I am so so sorry to hear about your dad!! (((hugs))) I am so so glad he is going to be ok. Such a relief.

How touching to have all of your past students cheering you on. I know that if you were ever to come to Minneapolis/St. Paul area to speak, I would so be there. I would love to be able to meet you.

It would be so fun to talk to you, having a great conversation.

I am never without at least one of my kids. What little time I got to myself when they all are in school just disappeared when we made the decision to pull our littlest and homeschool him.

I have missed your posts, but know that your family comes first. Good to hear from you and know that all is ok.

Carole

#3. YES.

Karen! I'm so glad that your dad is going to be okay! I'm so glad that you are also maybe or maybe not back. I will take what I can get.
