Cole came home a few weeks ago after being in the car for several hours with his dad (a runner) and his dad's boss (also a runner) and announced that he was planning to join Cross Country.
And since the Cross Country flyer says that they practice five days a week, 2.5 hours a day (Translated to mean; he'll be running his a$$ off.) I figured it was time to invest in a good pair of shoes for him.
So on Saturday, we drove over to Grants Pass to Competitive Athletics (Josh's old math teacher owns the store, and they give a military discount, so that's where we buy all of our running gear.) to get Cole fitted for some new running shoes...
They film you running before they fit you for your shoes. (Turns out, Cole is a severe pronator.)
And then they have you try on a half-dozen shoes to figure out which pair feels the best.
And the final pick, photographed by Cole...
Almost makes me feel like running.
Hey, I over-pronate, too. Always looking for a new pair--what kind are they?
