maybe you should stop traveling. You ave the worst travel luck! Sorry you went hungry. I think that is the worst of it all....LOL. Hope you have a better trip home!

Hey Karen, glad that you're safe and sound in Texas....Sorry you had such a yucky trip. I'd pack a few snacks in my purse for the trip home! Do they let you carry on food anymore? Enjoy your classes!

Hope the girls baby you and have them get you some Blue Bell ice cream...that is pure comfort food. Have a good trip and have fun in class.

I'll be in your photo class on Saturday. I am SO exicted to meet you and learn from you!

Heather (in Scotland)

Did you manage not to cry? I'd have cried, being cold, tired and hungry!

Jennifer P

Can't wait to meet you on Sunday in Lafayette!!!!!

So happy this weekend is finally here!

ugh! Maybe this will cheer you up! Your Narratives Doily papers have arrived here:

WHEN are you going to teach a photography workshop right here in Oregon? I live too close to not be able to take from you in person. Do you need me to set it up? I can. :)

I hope you have a less stressful trip. Flying with no food and no shower is not fun.

Aw, a layover in Denver! You were so close to me... yet still so far away! Hope the trip to Texas is a good one! :-)

Jennifer Hisi

oh, you should have stayed here in Denver to teach that class, I'd totally go!

Hope the rest of your trip is lots better!

i hope your trip home is better than your trip there.

Your class was awesome! Thanks so much! The only thing I was sad about was I couldn't sleep the night before. I will sleep tonight. Something about 1 hour sleep in 30 hours really exhausts you. I am glad I came even sleep deprived.

Thanks for an awesome journey home....Becky

Thanks so much for your class today- very informative, and you're a great teacher! wish we would have had sometime after class, but it's totally okay. I'll just go right back to stalking your blog :)have fun in louisiana!

Jenn N

I pray your weekend has gone better than your journey there. Try taking a 20 minute hot shower at the hotel, just because you can. Enjoy!

Having flown to Orlando and back for a 10 day trip to Disneyworld I can RELATE !! I am just getting to old for this vacation stuff !!

I was in the Houston class and you taught me more than I would have ever known about my camera on my own in a million years. Thanks for making it, hungry and all, and basically rocking my world!

I have read your blog for a couple of years. And I always said that if you came anywhere close for a class, I would be there. I drove from Austin and was so excited I could barely sleep the night before the class. And I was not disappointed! It was a great, informative, fun class that still has my brain whirling and excited! You are a wonderful teacher! I can't believe 10 hours just flew by. I'll be watching now for a chance to get in your online class. And in the meantime, I'll be clicking away!
Thank you again for a wonderful day,

heather bares

Hey Karen, I just wanted to say that I am so glad I took your class (Lafayette, LA). Thanks so much for coming this way to teach it. I am sure I speak for all of us that were there when I say I learned a ton!!!!! I did what I said I was going to do as well, I blogged about not being able to polish a turd!!!!!

Jennifer Patin

Karen, thank you so much for coming to Lafayette to teach us. It was a great class and I am so excited to put what I learned to good use. I am sending you a picture of your shoes if I can find your email on your blog somewhere. I was playing around while we were outside, and thought it was kinda cool.

Thanks again and it was so awesome to meet you! I dreamt about taking pictures all night even though I had a killer headache.

Oh man, days like that suck! Glad you arrived safely in Texas. I'm so excited to be taking your class in December @ SB Fever and then your online class in January!...OMG! I can hardly stand the wait!!

Debbie ♥

Just a quick comment since I'm at work . . . I just ordered my 1.4 50mm lens. I guess that means that I really liked your workshop. It was awesome. Thanks a million.

I was wondering where in the heck Webster is around here (it's a pretty huge state) and today as we were driving home from our weekend cruise, I saw a sign for Webster and thought of you!

Hope you had fun and that you'll come back again soon. I'd love to get into one of your scrapbooking classes. We had so much fun in our Photographer's Workshop class this summer--priceless!!!

Hey there. Mind still reeling from the class! Know the most practical tip I loved? The camera strap with the flash cards and hanging my camera on a hook in the coat closet! I always paranoidally store it in my camera bag. Yikes! Pricing lens and dreaming! Send us that camera strap link when you can. Hope LA was half as fun as we were! ha!

Your long lost friend in the 3rd row. :)

Hey Karen,
I was in your class in Webster. Thanks so much!!! I can't begin to tell you how much I learned. I wish you would write a book so I could have that to refer back to when I am out and about taking pictures. Plus, it would make great reading material on the plane or in the car. Thanks again... You are an inspiration!

Karen I'm so glad I have such an awesome auntie who bought me an amazing camera so I could take your class. I learned so many things. Your class was great. I "made" my kids go to a park on Sunday so I could practice some of the techniqes I learned. I even took my camera to dinner tonight so I could practice in different light. I think the family getting used to a camera following them around. I also can't wait to order some pictures to put in the book I made in class Friday. Thank you for coming to our neck of the woods to share your wealth of knowledge.
