I finally decided what to do with my wedding photos...
It holds 68+ photos.
The cover is made from a transparency and the inside pages are made out of die-cut patterned paper (I painted the back sides of the paper) and photo protectors in 3.5x5 and 2x2 sizes.
I designed it for a local fundraiser I am teaching at tomorrow and am so excited about it that I already have more albums underway to use as decor around my house (one in Fall colors to fill with all my favorite Fall photos, one in Christmas colors to put out every Christmas and one for each of the kids in different colors).
I've got extra kits, so if you want one you can check out more information here (they're $25).
Oh, and if you're a store owner who wants to teach this yourself at your store, email me at [email protected] and I'll email you a PDF with all the instructions.
Karen -- I love this album. Beautiful design and I love the size. What a great way to store your wedding photos -- Thanks for sharing it!

Love it! I want to order one, but I have a question first?? Did you mean that you are going to be selling kits in fall & Christmas colors a well, or just that you could paint the paper on your own to match those colors? If so, I want to wait until the fall one comes out??
Posted by: Rachael C | September 27, 2008 at 12:43 PM
Oh my gosh, it is an absolutely beautiful album and perfect for your wedding photos. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE think about offering as kits the holiday or fall albums you mentioned. I would love to have those out to decorate for the holidays. I just love everything you do and think you are amazingly talented. Thanks for sharing!

OMG. That's why you are Karen Russell and we are......not. ha.
Loving this so much. My wedding photo package came with a ton
of extra 5x5's that just sit in a box. Maybe this will inspire
me to do something with them! Yee Haw!

Hi Karen... THANK YOU SO MUCH for such a wonderful time at the Medford crop this weekend ! It was so great to meet you finally ! I LOVE YOUR PROJECT you designed for us ! My girlfriends call me the Overlay Queen because I love them so much, and this is just another sample to add to my overlay addiction !! You are such a down to earth person and I really enjoyed every minute you were there !! THANKS AGAIN for taking the time to make our day even better with you there !!

Could you please tell me what color your paint is for your album? It appears to be the perfect color to match the turquoise for Tiffany's.
BTW, the album and your wedding pictures are awesome.

I know you've been inundated re: this album (it really is gorgeous!), but have you considered selling just the instructions since the kit has sold out? I wouldn't mind going and picking up my own supplies, it would just be nice to pick your brain a little :)
