Classes this weekend were great.
But wow, I'm in desperate need of an updated hairstyle.
I taught Friday night in Lynwood at Lasting Memories. It was the first time I taught Scrapbooking Outside the Box. We only scheduled 3 hours for the class. I normally schedule 4 hours, but for some reason, I had it in my head that this class was going to be quicker than most.
I was wrong (note to self: always schedule 4 hours for classes).
Ended up rushing everyone through the second project because the store was full with a group of people waiting to hear my photography lecture, which we scheduled right after my class (I hope I gave away enough doorprizes to make up for the rush).
I think I got back to my Sister's house after midnight (my Sister watched Annie and Coley).
Annie doesn't like sleeping in strange places, so she was up (which meant I was up too) 5 times between midnight and 6am (which is when I set my alarm because I was heading up to Bellingham to teach all day). One of those five times, she had a major diaper "blow-out" (too much information, I'm sure) and since her baby wipes were nowhere to be found...she found herself naked (and mad) under the bathtub facet at 3 a.m.
I could really get off on a tangent here on the phenomenon of diaper blow-outs...but I won't.
So I decided to get a little crazy and get a single shot of caffeinated coffee in my mocha (instead of my regular shot of decaf) to wake me up on my drive to Bellingham (crazy, I tell ya...just living life on the edge).
I was teaching at Treasury of Memories. Luckily for me, that place is just filled with energy (and I needed it), so I managed to pull off a full day of teaching on about 3 hours sleep and a single shot of caffeine.
Thanks everyone for making the weekend so much fun.
I added a photo album in the right hand column of my blog (just scroll down until you see it - it's title "classes"). I think I'll start trying to upload all of my class photos to that album (and I already added the photos from last weekend). Thanks too, to all of you who emailed me pictures - sometimes I just don't get the camera out as much as I want to.
Teaching this Thursday night in Roseburg, Oregon at Stampers Corner (this one is full, so we decided to schedule a second class for Feb. 26th) and at No Bare Pages in Phoenix, Oregon on Monday night (I think there is still some spots available).
