We lost power (us and 1.5 million other people) last Thursday. I had been looking forward to winding down my day with an hour on the couch watching Survivor, but ended up in bed at 7pm with a flashlight and a couple of kiddos snuggled up next to me instead (no power for 26 loooooong hours).
Spent Friday over at the mall with all the kiddos finishing up my Christmas shopping (better than sitting at home in the dark) and then dropped Ross and my Uncle off at the airport (they left for a cruise to the Caribbean). So I'm guessing that life is pretty good in Ross's world right about now (I can't believe he's on a cruise...I've never even been on a cruise before).
Josh flew from Ohio to Chicago, Chicago to Portland and then drove a rental car from Portland to Grants Pass Saturday morning. He got in at 4am and decided that he might as well stay up since Courtney had dance class and Coley had a wrestling meet just a few hours later.
So glad he's home.
And Josh's parents got moved back down here on Friday - so we got to spend Saturday night eating pizza and hanging out over at their house (good stuff).
Yesterday, we made it over to Jacksonville after church. Santa, carriage rides, roasted chestnuts and lunch at Bella.
And this fine Monday morning, I just got Annie laid down for a little nap and can hear Cole & Courtney playing nicely in Cole's bedroom (for now).
playing nicely (for now) is such a treat, isn't it?
Courtney's scarf is so cute!

Whew, bummers about the power! I didn't realize so many here in the valley were without power.
Glad Josh is home, I am sure you feel so much better just knowing he is close :)
Love the shot of Courtney and Cole, so what did Annie think of Santa??
A Cruise, wow what a lucky guy Ross is!! Yep I bet he is one happy guy.
PS hope the kids are still playing nicely :) lol

What a sweet Santa picture, sounds like a wonderful outing! Our power was out for 29 hours and I feel so fortunate. We had a fire going and lots of candles, played games and had an indoor picnic. I have friends staying in a travel lodge because their's is still out. That was one wild storm we had in Seattle!
