I was just going to use a random number generator (like I usually do) to pick the winner of the seat I'm giving away in the next Photographers' Workshop, but then I found myself so engrossed in all of the photos and stories you guys shared that I had to choose based on emotion.
But of course, my emotions wouldn't let me narrow it down to just one, so I had to call on Josh Downs to name the winner...
You can see it can't you???
There just so much emotion in Rhoda's shot that no amount of technical imperfection can conceal it.
That's the power of an emotionally perfect photo.
And honestly Rhoda (Rhoda, you didn't leave your email address, so can you email me at karen@snapshotsofagoodlife.com so we can get you set up in class?) I can teach you how to fix the technical imperfections in this shot by Week Two of the workshop - and I can't wait to do just that.
For anyone else who is planning on signing up for the next workshop, registration starts on Monday, February 4th at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. (For more details, see the post below this one.)

I LOVE IT! Well deserved! What an awesome moment. Congrats Rhoda.

Recently, someone was mentioning a perfect Christmas ornament he received, which was a purchased glass ornament, which he loved. Then, a student gave him a homemade ornament, which he called, "Better than Perfect." That is this photo...Better than Perfect! Good call.
