Was a pretty quiet weekend and I only got my camera out once...
But there's still a few (albeit boring) details I want to remember:
1. Just Coley and I at home on Friday, eating bean dip and a watching a Survivor Marathon until after midnight.
2. Handing out baby bottles for the Baby Bottle Fundraiser (for The Pregnancy Center) with Courtney Lee and Annie.
3. Me, sarcastically calling Coley a "peach" during lunch and Yans interrupting to say, "More like a sour lemon."
4. Almost being caught up on emails after hours of working on them.
5. Annie, singing "I am a friend of God" loudly enough to make the people around us turn and smile during church.
6. Feeling Courtney Lee repeatedly squeeze my hand three times (which means I love you.)
7. A three-mile run with Cole.
8. A quiet house, all to myself Saturday night. (Josh had Guard Duty, Annie and Courtney were at their Grandma Jo's and Coley stayed the night at my Dads.)
9. Almost being caught up on laundray after hours and hours (and hours) of working on it.
10. Josh Downs offering to go grocery shopping for me on Sunday night (which is my normal Sunday night ritual.)
Hope your weekend was great.

Please, Please...what is the color on the back wall of the room in the picture. That is the color I have been envisioning in my bedroom since last summer, but I keep not finding it. Can you share? Thanks, April Nowotny

It's weird having the house all to myself anymore. It's almost too quiet to the point where I can't wait for everyone to bust the door down and let me know they are home again!!!

Ah, these are the best of times. That photo of Cole makes me melt. Glad it was a great weekend. And that you didn't have to go to the grocery--that makes it even better.

I loath doing laundry. yes, yes I think of all the blessings that HAVING SO MANY CLOTHES means but still.... ;) Best tip I've heard and now use in regards to laundry..... Each child is assigned a laundry day. Each kid gets a basket for their clothes, towels, sheets etc. on THEIR day, THIER baskets are washed, folded and set for them to take to their rooms to put away..... Notice anything missing? SORTING. No sorting. I sort the darks for the lights thats it! Has saved me time and at the end of the the day a feel like I accomplished something and am staying on top of the laundry.
