I've got my fingers crossed that I'm going to get enough time to post all of my Christmas photos (and maybe even my Thanksgiving ones too) here in the next few weeks.
Will start off with some from Christmas Eve...
After church and opening gifts at my Dad's house, we got back home, got the kids into their pajamas and started making cookies.
I swear - the pictures don't show it - but they bickered the whole time over whose turn it was to stir, who was making their cookies too big, who got to lick the spoon, etc.
And then they started in on letters to Santa (and thankfully, without any bickering.)
Annie asked for a baby sister. (Sorry Yans, that's not happening.)
And then Josh Downs read the night before Christmas before getting all our rugrats in bed...

Sweet! Sounds like a wonderful evening...even with the bickering! Thanks for sharing!

I love seeing your Christmas pictures, and love hearing about your real life - so glad that bickering goes on in other houses, not just ours!

Love them all! Annie covering her mouth is so cute! And the reading of the Night Before didn't happen at our house this year. It's not as cute when one kid has moved out and the other is 16 and a half.

Your pictures always so lovely! And I like how you tell us the real life scenes - the bickering. Yes that happens around here too!

Love Annie's missing teeth, and is Cole writing in cursive? If so I'm totally impressed - my third grader doesn't do cursive and I don't think there are plans in the elementary school to teach it at this point, sadness.

What a neat tradition to make cookies that night for Santa. I am going to have to remember that one for next Christmas. It is always just DH, the kids and I. Not really any extended family. Fab photos as always!!

I love looking at these photos and knowing that you have to put Annie in the middle so Courtney and Cole won't fight! And even though you said you do the same thing every year, I still think they are pictures worth taking!! And no,you can not tell they are bickering!
Thanks for sharing!

The failures and reverses which await men - and one after another sadden the brow of youth - add a dignity to the prospect of human life, which no Arcadian success would do.

Beautiful fmily photos in this post.
I was wondering... what kind of flash did you use (if you did)... it looks like you didn't have day light at the same time there is a nice light on those photos...no flashy light if you know what I mean.
Love the colours and angles in your photos.
