I've got a friend (Yes you Marilou.) that is always emailing me with ideas she's got floating around in her head.
And they're not your average, run-of-the-mill ideas either.
They're really good ideas.
Her most recent idea was for me to put together a template that past students could quickly add an image and some text to, in order to share one of their favorite photos along with the most important thing they felt they learned from The Photographers' Workshop.
Quick and easy and wonderful.
And with my next registration coming up on October 15th (for my first workshop in 2013, which runs from January 7th through March 11th.), I figured the timing couldn't be better for past students to share some of their images and thoughts with potential future students.
So I just sent off an email to my past students with the template attached and asked them to post a link in the comments section of this post if they wanted to share an image with all of you. (So be sure to check back in the comments section of this post once students start uploading them.)
This one is from my (smart-thinking) friend Marilou...
And a few more details about the next registration for The Photographers' Workshop...
Registration will begin on Monday, October 15th at 9:00 am Pacific Time at www.snapshotsofagoodlife.com for my next workshop, running from January 7th through March 11th, 2013.
As usual, I'll be taking both Regular Students ($395) and Auditing Students ($245).
The ONLY difference between Regular Students and Auditing Students is that I do not provide evaluations for Auditing Students (though Auditing Students can puchase a telephone/Skype consult with me in order to have their images reviewed.) Other than that, the class is EXACTLY the same for both Regular Students and Auditing Students. Auditors can post questions, upload assignments, ask for peer reviews and have access to everything that Regular Students have access to, including reading all of the evaluations I write for Regular Students.
In general, Auditing Seats are typically ideal for students who want to work at their own pace and/or students who want to save a little money. (And once you've taken the class, you can come back to audit again anytime for only $95.)
Hope to see some of you on the Roll Call list for the January 2013 workshop!
