And of course, Shindand was Josh's present to Annie before he left...
And since the day they met, Annie has been his 'person' - it's the cutest thing ever.
And if you're reading this Josh Downs...I sure hope Shindand decides he likes you. (Because he's going to be bigger than you by the next time you see him.)

That's wonderful - they are the best dogs. I have a German Shepherd and my breeder told me to hold him and spoil him when he was a puppy and he would be mine forever and she was right!! When he was a puppy, he didn't even like for my husband to hug me! He's very protective of me and the sweetest thing ever.

Especially love the photo of Annie and Shindand looking at one another. One of my 'internet friends' is about to start your course. I'm very excited for her knowing the brilliant time she's going to have.

Isn't it heartwarming to watch Annie and Shindand's relationship develop more each day knowing that they will be the best of friends for a long, long time.
Thanks for sharing Karen.

I can't even imagine my life without a dog!! I believe aside from the loving relationships we have with people, the bond & love with a dog is one of the greatest gifts the heart can have! Shindand will surely bless all of your lives!!

Oh my gosh! Those are the cutest pictures ever! But the one where he's looking at her while she's looking at him is adorable! You better show the dog pictures of Josh so he knows him when he gets back.

I am really REALLY thinking now more than ever that if we ever get another dog, we'll get one of these beauties. So attractive and protective, and yes.. still "putty in her hands" <3
Still thinking of you all each and every day. {{Love and prayers}}

Oh Karen, these pictures melt my heart! I only wish Gabe would love up to our dogs like this! We have a 4-month old yellow lab and somehow I have became 'his person'! I so wish it were Gabe, but we love him just the same!
Hugs my friend! Hope you're hanging in there with big daddy away!:) Go Beavs!
