Made some time to hang out down at the school today. (No Coley though - he was with his Grandma.)
We played basketball.
And hung out.
And goofed off.
And played four-square.
(Which quickly attracted some other kids who ended up playing with us.)
Please note that I don't dress-up to play basketball...or four square. (We had just gotten out of church.)
And we played on the playground for a bit too.
I wish the weekends didn't go by so fast.
Just a reminder that the registration for The Photographers' Workshop is today (Monday, Feb. 1st at 6pm pacific time.)
This registration is ONLY for students who want to register for FULL PARTICIPATION in the class. I will be offering a later registration for anyone who is wanting to audit the class and will announce that date as soon as I know it.
You have to be on the wait list in order to register today.
And a big thanks to everyone who hung out with me on Saturday at Krop, Paper, Scissors for the One Day Photographers' Workshop (which started at 9am and didn't wrap up until around 9pm...seriously, who can talk that long?....apparently I can.) You guys were so wonderful.

Wow! The weather was that nice out huh? We in the Midwest is cold and not quite that warm to not wear a jacket. You looked very cute and four square is awesome!

Great photos! I'm envious of everyone in their short sleeved t-shirts and tops! The boots look kinda out of place!

Thank You!!! I waited 3 years to take that class this weekend and it was definitely worth the wait...I learned so much and I'm so excited to use all the skills, information and techniques that you taught us. I was so excited that night I didn't go bed until 2:30 a.m. I had an amazing time and I still can't stop talking about it....

It surprises me that your Oregon weather is much like out Louisiana weather. Coat-free days in the winter, and those 100 degree days in the summer. Go figure. . . .
Love these shots. My favorites this time are of Annie sitting on the basketball on the pavement -- one of her with her hands on her hips and the other of her with Josh. Great shots, Mom!!

All the girls look so stylish, I love the boots. I've never heard of four square, how do you play that game?

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED your class Saturday night!! Thank you!!! It took us until 2am to drive home, but we chatted non stop the whole way. We are so lucky to live close enough to come to your live class. We got so many A-Ha moments and enjoyed the WHOLE thing. (Sorry we kept you so late!! Tell your family THANKS!!)

Karen, couple of questions:
1. are you expecting a lot of interest in the non-participation class (just wondering, so that if registration is in the middle of the night here, downunder, I know if I need to stay awake for it; &
2.should I pre-register, or doesn't it matter for the non-participation class?
Many many thanks,
Marina, Australia
