I have an excuse though.
I got a new camera last week and the regular process that I use to download my RAW images is not working so I have to figure out a new process.
And though you may not believe it...I'm not very computer savvy.
And I don't like blogging without photos (so once I figure it out, I'll be back with lots of photos to share).

Great excuse! ;-) Hey, how much snow have you guys gotten. We've received over 8"+ and it snowed again last night. Haven't seen my front lawn since Friday...this is so weird for Portland, but it's AWESOME, we might just have a white Christmas!

Karen, If it's the 5D MarkII, I had the same issue with CS3 and I ended up using Adobe Lightroom.
You can also use the digital Pro software that came with the camera, when you upload your pics in that software, double click on a photo and go under tools and click transfer to photoshop. Under photoshop you have to go under image, then click 8b.
Luckily for me my hubby is an engineer and can figure all this out before I cry!

if it is the mkII there has been an update to lightroom (thank goodness bc i was going insane!!) if you don't use lightroom the canon digital pro (that comes with the camera) is pretty good.

congrats on a new camera!! When I upgraded from my lil Rebel to the 40D I had to do an update for CS3, because it wouldn't read my RAW files either. Adobe has those updates on their site...but I'm sure you're probably aware of all this...but I thought I'd shout it out anyway.
btw I LOVE your photography!!!!!!

Did direct hits from snowballs mess up your old 5D? Good excuse to buy a new one, anyway. (Maybe that's why I don't buy the expensive cameras. So much opportunity for snowball fights here in Dallas...:)
