The website.
Registration for the Photographers' Workshop begins this coming Monday, May 5th at 9am PST at www.snapshotsofagoodlife.com.
The website won't go live until Monday morning, but I wanted to show you what it looks like and what you'll need to do to register.
From the home page (above) select "photography classes".
From the photography classes page (above) select "register for a class".
This is what the registration page looks like.
At the time of registration you only have to complete the information under the "Please fill in the following information" section (name, address, email address, class date, username, password).
Although there is additional information on this page, it is not necessary to complete it prior to registration. In fact, I do NOT recommend filling in any additional information at the time of registration as registration is on a "first come, first served" basis (so you want to register as FAST as possible).
Once you have filled in the necessary information click on the "click her to complete registration" bar at the bottom of the page.
From there, you just have to go through the check-out process, which includes providing your payment information in the secure shopping cart (credit card/debit card/Paypal).
My web guy and a I will be available all morning in case there are any problems (there is always the risk of the site going down if too many people are trying to register at the same time).
Feel free to email me if you have any questions (karencrussell@charter.net) or if you did not receive the Photographers' Workshop newletter I mailed out on Thursday (I'll forward it to you).
Have a great weekend.

It looks beautiful, Karen!! I hope all goes smoothly on Monday!

Best of luck with your registration Karen! I know it will sell out in no time. I had every intention of going into the registration battlefront but I lost my job and haven't been able to find another one in the last month so maybe by the next time you offer it.

i'm finally catching up on your blog karen and have to share my story about your m&m's. i took your class at mlpa and bought another kit for later use. of course i ate the m&m's from the kit i did in class. however, and you might realize where this story is going, i was cleaning my scrap room out to get things ready for a yard sale and was PILING up all the kits i had not completed yet. well your kit had a big hole chewed in it . . . seems the mice in my 250 year old stone farm house really like m&m's too. fortunately for me they didn't care for the real goodness in the kit because only one piece of paper was spoiled . .. and that only has chocolate mouse prints on it.
good luck with your wedding in a few short weeks . . . and many blessed years for you and josh and your family.

Hoping I get in. I've heard so many wonderful things about you as a teacher and the photos on your blog show you are a fabulous photographer.

Well, it's less than 12 hours away!! I am going to keep my fingers crossed that all the classes won't be filled by the time that I get online to register. I leave my house at 8:30 to start seeing pt's and work hasn't given us a broad band card yet for our laptops. So when I leave the house, I have no way to link up :o( Have fun.

Hi Karen - off topic but I am curious. Do you shoot just RAW or RAW+jpeg?
Thanks and good luck with your class!
